After day five of treatment (i.e. ginger "tea" with honey and lemon three times daily), my voice has finally returned. Finally I can again conduct a decent conversation less amusing or weird for the person I'm talking to, and finally I can again carry a tune ( I think).
So, yes, the medicinal properties of the ginger the lemon and honey (I recently learned that honey has some amazing medicinal properties, one being antimicrobial) have worked for me. Amazing!
