Somerset is located south-west of London partly bordered by the Bristol Channel. I personally have not been there, but pictures I've seen are always alluring and romantic, like straight out of British movies! It is a rural county and agriculture is its major business.

Cousins' Home

Perhaps what mainly peaks my interest in Somerset is that it is the location of Withy Kitchen. Withy Kitchen is owned by my fiance's cousins, the husband and wife team of Keith and Helen. (Check out their website to learn what their kitchen is all about) . Keith and Helen know of me and I know of them but we have yet to meet. I cannot wait to meet them! I would love to cook with them and watch and learn from them, and perhaps share ideas.

They cater to the vegetarian/vegan population and create meals to offer a lot more options to this group than just another "vegetable lasagne". They also use blast freezing technology - again would love to see that process! Adam recently went to visit them and sent me awesome pictures of their kitchen (see below). No pictures of the blast freezer though. I guess I'll have to see those in person instead!
